Everyday Inspirations

Thanksgiving
{angie}
Thanksgiving is that perfect time of year to reflect on the things you're grateful for. There is so much that too often I take for granted. So here is my list, however abbreviated, of the amazing things I'm thankful for this year.
  • My husband who makes me smile everyday, even when I don't feel like smiling.
  • My incredible family, both blood relatives and my awesome in-laws. I am grateful everyday to call them not only family, but friends.
  • My friends who continue to inspire me and shape me into the person I strive to be.
  • Everyday Inspirations which pushes me to find something wonderful in each day, our fabulous readers, and the best blog partner a girl could ask for! Ash, you rock!
  • The furriest member of my family, my pup, Miss Daisy, who brightens up my day without even trying.
  • Food, photography, figure skating, art, travel and all my other passions that bring out my creativity.
  • An awesome job that challenges me in the best of ways.
  • A warm home and enough to eat, pay my bills and save for the future.
  • And last but not least, maybe it's lame, but the world of social media that has connected me with so many old and new friends, tweeps, business contacts and awesome people I never new existed!
Have a happy, safe Thanksgiving everyone! Thank you for reading our blog!

Tell us, what are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Where to start?

Family - so thankful to be able to hang with the family here in Utah and sometimes visit our family in NYC, Arizona, and California. We can't always be together but we have wonderful means of communication online, on phone, etc and transportation. I'm thankful to have both my parents healthy and also thankful to have my son only two time zones away.

Friends - I have reconnected with my oldest and dearest friends from my school days this year and last ... and I'm also thankful to have so many new friends with whom I have common interests and values. And I'm thankful to have friends who are like family and friends who have been my advocates.

Grandpuppy - I never knew it would be so fun to have a cute little puppy spirit in our midst again! Daisy is adorable and I am so thankful she comes over to play!

Music - I have heard and met so many wonderful musicians this year and had so many fantastic musical experiences. I could not be more thankful to have seen so many concerts this year from the front row! And music is always such a wonderful cure for a bad day or the perfect addition to any celebration.

Yoga - I'm thankful for yoga. It has truly and completely changed my world.

Faith - I'm thankful for my faith and especially for the friends with whom I can share my spiritual thoughts and feelings. And I'm glad for so many mass times and parishes to choose from here in SLC.

Stock Trading - I'm thankful to my brother for teaching me to trade this year. I've always wanted to understand the stock market and options trading and it was great to have the time and patience to do it.

More - dancing, mountains, my job, good health, social media learnings, vegetables, my car that still is running after 150,000 miles, financial well being, my house, and my occasional sense of humor. And ... many more things that I have failed to think of just now!

Happy Thanksgiving to the EI team!

Happy Thanksgiving, Susi! Thank you for your beautiful list of blessings.

Aw, Ang! Thanks for such a sweet compliment. I feel the same about you. I am so very glad our lives crossed and we became such good friends!

I'm very grateful for this beautiful, amazing year, because it changed so many things in my life and helped me to see and appreciate my many blessings. I'm also grateful for the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding that comes with each new year (AKA: thank goodness I'm learning from mistakes!). Life is such an amazing gift. :)
