Time to call up grandma and ask to borrow her old jewelry. Right now antique is chic! You can go to the store and drop a pretty penny on some of these new, old fashions, but the real thing is even better. These antique gems aren't necessarily expensive either. Check out shopgoodwill.com where you can find a lot of people selling their old jewelry. Or if you like things new, check out some of the vintage and antique replicas at overstock.com. Even more meaningful, really call up mom or grandma and ask to borrow some old family heirlooms. They will be honored to have someone new wearing their old jewelry and you can wear something that has a real history. I have several pieces from my grandmother and great-grandmothers which I love to wear to celebrate their legacies.
